Another Boring Sunday

So right now I should be heading out to the city to meet up with Mel and Monica. We were supposed to go to Club Exit for the PR Day Parade After-Party. However, that didn't work out for me because I had to pay my car insurance, and two credit card bills which did not leave me enough money to party with her tonight.

I'm really upset because she really wanted me to go, and for the past couple of weeks we keep planning to go out and dance, but it never works out for some reason. Not to mention Daddy Yankee, Sean Paul & Wisin y Yandel are gonna be performing tonight.

Sigh.

The past few days have been alright. My cousin Ivan came in from Colombia on Tuesday morning and I've been taking him around to chill and stuff pretty much every night. Cindy came along and we showed him around Times Square, South Street Seaport, Coney Island, and our secret pier in Greenpoint. His half-brother Joel has been chillin with us too.

Friday was a really long day for me and I ended up doing nothing for the first Friday in a long time. One of my supervisors asked me if I could come in early to cover someone's shift. So I did. I woke up at 4:30 and got to work at 6:00 AM. I should have been off at 2:30 PM but someone how I didn't get 10-2'd until 9 freakin' thirty. I mean the over time was great but damn was that a long tour. I clocked out around 10:15 or so.

I got home and knocked out within two minutes of stepping into my room.

The next morning i was late to work but Javier didn't seem to mind too much. The tour went well. I met up with Nikki afterwards and we ended up going to Last Call with Cindy, Dre, Ivan, and Joel. We stuck with Tequila for a while and just chilled. It was the weekend bartender's birthday so there was a small party going on.

Sal showed up around 2:45 in the morning with his girlfriend Geeta and her gorgeous cousin Cita (or Seeta? Yeah... probably Seeta) who I've had the hots for since the very first day I met her at Greenfield's a couple months ago. Her other cousins Mala and Camila were there too.

I was telling Nikki about how I've been into West Indians since back in High School and she was just like, "Do your thing." I'm too lazy to type the whole thing right now... but to keep it simple there was some flirting and lots of eye contact and I think I may have a chance.

When we left the bar, none of her cosuins said goodbye except Seeta who came over and gave me an interesting look which I didn't know what to really make of, followed by a big kiss on the cheek and a whispered, "See you soon."

Once outside as we drove up Utopia to drop off Joel, Sal pulled alongside and started flinging hard candies at my car. He was playing around of course, but I couldn't let it go so I threw back whatever I could find and then of of Sal's candies knocked Nikki in her face and she flipped. She grabbed an empty bottle of Smirnoff Ice and chucked it at his car.

We took off for fear of retribution, blowing about three red lights and fishtailing around the median to to escape. I called Sal once I was free to apologize, when to my surprise Seeta answered. I stayed on the phone a bit, some more flirting from her and an open invitation to chill soon. I also asked if Sal was pissed about the bottle and was relieved to find out he thought it was hilarious.

All in all an interesting night. But interesting nights have a way of always leading into a boring day the next day. I'm so bored I've considered calling AMR to ask if they need anyone to come in. LOL.

OK. That's it for now. I need to get out and do something.

Doc Out.
